Tattered and worn describes the LHS Marching Band uniforms and due to their condition, the Music Boosters are sponsoring a uniform drive with the hopes to provide new uniforms for next year’s band members. Current uniforms were purchased in 1983 and have been mended many times over the years. Individual pants, jackets and hats have been replaced as needed the last 20 years, but the overall condition of the uniforms show major wear and tear. The time has come to dress up our band!
A new design from Stanbury Uniform Company will provide our band members to look sharp while performing at football games and in parades. The new uniforms will include a red jacket with black stripes outlined in white, black pants with a red stripe outlined in white, along with a black and red shako hat. The total cost of a new uniform is $450.00 and 100 uniforms are needed. The Music Boosters have $3,000.00 raised for the project and would like to ask the community to help support the band by making a donation.
If you would like to donate, please fill out the contribution form found HERE. Please note that your contribution is tax deductible as the Music Booster Association is a 501 (c) (3) organization. The band, Mrs. Angela Spreng, band director, and the Music Boosters thank you in advance for your support.
