The Loudonville-Perrysville Exempted Village School District is proud to announce its achievement of a 4-star rating on the State of Ohio's annual Report Card, demonstrating significant progress across key areas of student performance and district growth.
The Ohio School Report Cards provide essential information for parents, caregivers, community members, educators, and policymakers about district and school performance. These report cards celebrate successes while highlighting areas for continuous improvement. The goal is to foster transparent reporting that drives local conversations and identifies schools needing intensive support, all while establishing high expectations for the education community and working toward equitable outcomes for all Ohio students.
This year, Loudonville-Perrysville has made notable improvements tying as a top-rated district in Ashland County. The district moved from a 3-star to a 4-star rating overall, as well as, in three important categories: Achievement, Gap Closing, and Early Literacy. Additionally, the district saw a remarkable improvement in its Graduation Rate, moving from 4 stars to 5 stars, and a significant jump in College, Career & Military Readiness, with the percentage rising from 45% to 72.9%.
Individual school performance also saw improvements:
McMullen maintained its 4-star rating.
Budd improved from a 4-star to a 4.5-star rating.
Loudonville High School moved from a 3-star to a 3.5-star rating.
Superintendent Jennifer Allerding expressed her pride in the district's accomplishments: "This is truly a testament to the hard work of our staff and administrators. I know that progress still needs to be made, but there are so many great things happening here in L-P. I am so proud of the progress we’ve made in just one year!"
