LHS indoor track athletes Braden Carr and Tess Shultz have set new indoor school records and will compete in the OATCCC Indoor State Meet! Braden has qualified for the pole vault competition with a jump of 14'0" and Tess has qualified to run in the 800m (2:21.88) and 1600m (5:05.45).
The upcoming state meet will be Braden's 3rd time to compete at the high school level. He also qualified for the indoor state meet his 8th grade year. With his recent jump of 14 feet, he broke his previous record he set his freshman year! Tess will return as a second time competitor at the high school level.
Braden and Tess will compete on Friday, March 7, at Spire Academy in Geneva, OH. Braden will jump around 11 or 12 in the morning, and Tess will run at 4:45pm and 6:10pm. We wish our REDBIRDS good luck! Go Birds!
